Hi there, it’s time for your Thursday thought of the week. I just had this amazing AHARA class that I taught, and I wanted to use this quote because we discussed it at length tonight.
This quote is from Ava DuVernay (writer/director). “Make space for other voices. The best ideas are often locked into the heads, minds, and hearts of the people who are not empowered to speak.”
As you go into your weekend, think about who you come into contact with who may not feel empowered to speak and appreciate the opportunities that might exist within that person.
